COVID-19 Update & Policy
Galway Osteopathy is reopen.
Preparation for Reopening:
In preparation for reopening I have completed the HSE COVID-19 Infection Prevention & Control Guidance course to ensure that I am following all precautions to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19.
I have completed a thorough risk assessment of the clinic, and in doing so I developed the Galway Osteopathy COVID-19 Policy & Consent document. This document will be sent to all patients in their booking confirmation email. This document outlines the updated hygiene procedures, social distancing measures, PPE and generally what to expect when you attend for an appointment. You will need to agree to the terms of the policy and give consent prior to attendance.
You will also receive a COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire the day before your appointment, which again, will need to be completed before you attend.
I will be available for appointments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9:30am - 5pm.
Due to the limited availability I have disabled the online booking system for now to give preference to returning patients. This means you will need to email/text/call me to book an appointment.
I'm looking forward to welcoming you all back to Galway Osteopathy soon!
COVID - LEVEL 5
Galway Osteopathy is open for emergency/essential appointments only while Level 5 restrictions are in place.
Emergency/essential appointments will include those in acute pain, treatments where waiting 6 weeks would be detrimental to a patients health or significantly reduce their ability to function in their daily activities, or where it would otherwise be necessary for the patient to attend a HSE service (eg GP) if treatment were not to be provided.
An online Telehealth appointment is essential for all new patients to assess the suitability for a face-to-face treatment.
For all appointments please call Audrey on 0877658457
Appointments can be booked online from the 1st December onwards for non-emergency/essential treatments.
