Osteopathy is an effective and safe choice of treatment throughout a pregnancy. The techniques are gentle and the comfort of the mother and baby are always assured.

During pregnancy women experience the largest postural change that their body will undergo. Registered osteopaths use their skills to help relieve the aches and pains caused by posture changes both during and after pregnancy.

Such issues may include:

• Low Back and Neck Pain
• Sciatica
• Joint and Muscle Ache
• Pregnancy Related Pelvic Girdle Pain (including SPD)

Your osteopath can help with preparation for labour and recovery post-birth.

Audrey has completed numerous post-graduate courses in both pregnancy and post-natal care.  She is also the mother of two young boys, so she understands the strain of pregnancy and birth from a first hand perspective!

Galway Osteopathy is open for emergency/essential appointments only while Level 5 restrictions are in place.

Emergency/essential appointments will include those in acute pain, treatments where waiting 6 weeks would be detrimental to a patients health or significantly reduce their ability to function in their daily activities, or where it would otherwise be necessary for the patient to attend a HSE service (eg GP) if treatment were not to be provided.

An online Telehealth appointment is essential for all new patients to assess the suitability for a face-to-face treatment.

For all appointments please call Audrey on 0877658457

Appointments can be booked online from the 1st December onwards for non-emergency/essential treatments.
